Our Video Content Report service - How It Works & What It Costs...

We’re often asked what we can do for people who can’t see what they have on their tapes. If you are unable to view your tapes, and you are unsure of what is on them, then your options with our competitors are pretty limited. You can choose to have the transfer done, or not.. That’s it really...

With us, you can either choose to have us go ahead and transfer your tapes, or you may choose our unique-in-the-industry Video Content Report.

A skilled operator will cue up your tape & then fast forward through its entire length stopping to check the contents at 15 minute intervals, then report back to you what they find (described to the best of their ability).

We will then await your instructions before proceeding to digitise your media. The cost of this service is $7.50 per tape. If you do not wish to go ahead with certain tapes, you will save the digitising charges, the DVD compression, the disc burning & packaging costs for those tapes.

RetroMedia offer another unique-in-the-industry service to help you find out exactly what you have on your tapes - down to a 25th of a second!. With our Video Content Review service we can capture all your videos, then for $29.95 rent you a Hard Drive containing all your mystery footage. From there you can choose what you’d like to keep, noting in & out points. In addition to using the digital counter to specify editing points, you can also use it to give us details of any scene titles, or sub-titles or captions you might want inserted.
